Three bathrooms.
One family home.
Three bathrooms in one family home in Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire, each with its own character. We designed, supplied and installed all three. One is deep green with brushed brass, one is navy with brushed bronze, and the third is a marble shower room. They share the same attention to the details you notice every day: lit niches, wall-hung sanitaryware, concealed cisterns and fittings that match from tap to towel rail.
Project at a glance.
Location: Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire
Project type: Bathroom design, supply and installation
Rooms: Three (two bathrooms, one shower room)
Programme: 4 weeks
Sanitaryware: Utopia and Duravit
Brassware: Vado and Aqualla, brushed brass and brushed bronze
Tiling: Ca’ Pietra, large-format porcelain, marble-effect, fluted and herringbone
Furniture: Floor-standing and wall-hung vanities
Bathroom One.
A deep forest green double vanity sits against vertical fluted wood-effect panelling, finished with a marble-effect worktop and two semi-recessed basins. Brushed brass runs through every fitting: the taps, handles, flush plate, trim and heated towel rail.
The walk-in shower is lined with large-format porcelain in green and copper tones, like polished stone. A long niche, lit warm and lined in the same fluted finish as the vanity wall, gives the shower its own glow. Above the basins, an illuminated mirror cabinet keeps everyday things out of sight. A stone-effect shower tray with a brushed brass waste finishes the floor.
Bathroom Two.
A fluted navy vanity, wall-hung with two deep drawers and a slim integrated basin, sets the tone. A round backlit mirror sits above it on ribbed neutral tiling that contrasts with charcoal large-format walls.
The back-to-wall bath has a curved end and its own lit niche. A three-control thermostatic valve and bath filler are finished in brushed bronze to match the rain shower in the walk-in enclosure. A wall-hung WC with a concealed cistern keeps the floor clear.
Bathroom Three.
White marble-effect porcelain from floor to ceiling, set against a warm herringbone floor. A soft grey wall-hung vanity is lit from beneath, and a wide backlit mirror runs the width of the basin wall.
The walk-in shower has a frameless glass screen with a brushed brass support arm, a rain shower, a separate handset and a recessed niche trimmed in brass. A brushed brass ladder radiator and matching flush plate complete the room.
